FBI: Lone Man Robs Minneapolis Bank

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Authorities are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who robbed a TCF Bank in Minneapolis, according to the FBI.

The robber entered the TCF Bank, located at 1602 New Brighton Blvd. NE, early Tuesday evening and gave a bank teller a demand note, which said, "this is a robbery give me all your cash. I have a gun." The man wasn't observed with a weapon.

The robber then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robber is described as a white man, 50 to 60 years old, 5-foot-11 with a stocky build and a prominent mid-section. His face was pock marked and his finger nails looked like they were chewed. He was wearing a black puffy jacket and a red hat with three dark stripes.

Anyone with information regarding the robbery is asked to call Minneapolis Police at 612-348-2345 and the Minneapolis FBI at 612-376-3200.
