Challenged Ballots From Minn. Gov. Recount Online

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -- Scanned images of challenged ballots from Minnesota's governor's race recount are now available online.

The Minnesota secretary of state's office is now scanning the ballots as they are received to share with the news media.

Scanned ballots will be uploaded by 4 p.m. the day they are received. Attempted challenges deemed frivolous by recount officials are not being forwarded to the secretary of state's office.

Democrat Mark Dayton led Republican Tom Emmer by 8,770 votes entering the recount.

The secretary of state's office says there were no ballots challenged in these counties: Big Stone, Clearwater, Cook, Freeborn, Hubbard, Kittson, Koochiching, Lac Qui Parle, Lake of the Woods, Mahnomen, Martin, Meeker, Pennington, Pine, Pope, Red Lake, Redwood, Sibley, Stevens, Swift, Wilkin and Yellow Medicine.
