Winter Carnival Buttons Unveiled

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The unveiling of the Winter Carnival buttons are a sure sign that the time of Vulcans, Klondike Kates and ice castles are almost upon us.

On Saturday, the four 2011 St. Paul Winter Carnival button designs were shown to the public.

The buttons, designed by The Concept Group, a Saint Paul marketing agency, uses images from the Ramsey County Historical Society and the Minnesota Historical Society to showcase what has made the Winter Carnival a Minnesota tradition for 125 years.

The buttons sell for $5 each or $20 for the collector's pack of all four images.

The St. Paul Winter Carnival takes place Jan. 27 through Feb. 6, 2011.
