Colorado College Rolls Over St. Cloud St. 5-2

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (AP) -- Tyler Johnson scored two goals as Colorado College beat St. Cloud State 5-2 Saturday for a sweep of their Western Collegiate Hockey Association series.

Johnson's first goal on the power play at 16:59 of the first period gave the Tigers a 3-1 lead. He also scored even strength in the third to give Colorado College (10-7-1, 7-5-0) its biggest lead at 5-1. Johnson also had a goal in Friday's 3-0 win.

Gabe Guentzel and William Rapuzzi had first-period goals against St. Cloud State (5-11-2, 3-8-1) goaltender Dan Dunn. Rapuzzi's goal at 10:44 led to Dunn being replaced by Mike Lee, who made 21 saves. Dunn had two stops on four shots.

St. Cloud State outshot the Tigers 31-29, but Joe Howe made 29 saves, including 12 in the third period.

Ben Hanowski and Mitch MacMillan had goals for the Huskies.
