BELOIT, Wis. (AP) -- Hall-of-Fame baseball player Paul Molitor will be the featured speaker at a southern Wisconsin event next month.

He will appear at a banquet hosted by Beloit Snappers on Jan. 25.

Paul Molitor, a 2004 inductee to Major League Baseball's Hall-of-Fame, is a seven-time All-Star who was with the Milwaukee Brewers for 15 seasons. He was also a member of the 1993 Toronto Blue Jays that won the World Series over the Philadelphia Phillies.

Molitor spent the last three seasons of his career with the Minnesota Twins before retiring in 1998. He later became a Twins bench coach and is now the Twins minor league base running/infield coordinator.

The Beloit Snappers are a member of the Midwest League and a Class-A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins.
