WATERLOO, Wis. (AP) – A Waterloo family had a lot to celebrate this Christmas and will from now on.
Twenty-year-old Brianna Whitney, of Waterloo, gave birth to babies on Christmas Day — two years and 10 minutes apart. She had Logan Whitney this Christmas and had his sister 2-year-old Kyra Jensen two years ago.
She says Kyra’s due date was Jan. 21 and Logan’s was Jan. 5. Both were also delivered by the same obstetrician at St. Mary’s Hospital.
The children’s grandmother, Donna Higgins, of Sun Prairie, tells the Wisconsin State Journal that she’s overwhelmed thinking about all the gifts that will be needed next Christmas.
Hospital spokesman Steve Van Dinter says the odds of this happening are very, very slim.
