4 Injured In Mpls. Shooting

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Four people were injured in a shooting outside a dance studio in Minneapolis early Saturday morning, according to police.

At around 3:30 a.m., police officers were checking the area near East 26th Street and South 2nd Avenue on a person with a gun call when they heard gunshots nearby.

Police said they located the gunfire at the studio, which is at 2601 2nd Avenue S.

When they arrived, there were approximately 100 people at the studio, where a party was being held.

Four people were found with non-life threatening gunshot wounds to their legs. Three were taken to the Hennepin County Medical Center by an ambulance and the other victim was taken to Fairview Riverside by a private vehicle.

Police believe an argument broke out near the front door and shots were fired.

No one is in custody and police aren't releasing suspect information at this time.
