VIRGINIA, Minn. (AP) — A man involved in a fatal street fight in northeastern Minnesota has been sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Robert Jacob Russell pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in an agreement with prosecutors in St. Louis County Tuesday, just a week before his trial was scheduled to begin.

The 40-year-old Russell was arrested in December 2009 after John Jamie Drumm was fatally stabbed during a street fight in Virginia.

The Mesabi Daily News says Russell will have to serve a mandatory minimum of about 13 years in prison. A second person involved in the fight, Jared William Boshey, was sentenced to two years of probation on a third-degree assault charge.

Execute him. He does not deserve to live. What a POS. Stupid democrats waste their time jailing these people that should be executed.

  • Jail Paige Magee

Why hasn’t Paige Magee, 20, been mentioned in this article or faced any criminal charges in this case? She was with both Russell, 40 and Boshey at the time the stabbing took place. Is it because she sang like a bird to save her own behind or because Daddy and grandpa are both attorneys? Will she be as lucky in March when she appears in Anoka County on a Felony charge for Receiving Stolen Property? Don’t let spoiled little brats like her keep getting away with the crimes they committ!!
