2 Arrested For Stealing 35 Flat-Screen TVs

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Two people were arrested Thursday for stealing between $10,000 to $20,000 worth of stolen electronics and TVs from a company in Hudson, Wis.

The Hudson Police Department arrested Kerry Wittmer, 35 and Jamie Wittmer, 34, both of Spring Valley, Wis. for taking items from the Valley Cartage Company.

Police said they recovered 35 flat screen TVs during the investigation. The sizes of the TVs range from 27 inches to 60 inches. Officers also found several power tools, two laptop computers, six DVD/ BluRay players, 11 digital cameras and three wireless security systems.

Police said Kerry Wittmer was a dock foreman for Valley Cartage Company. Officers think the Wittmers may have taken other items and sold them.
