Twins Tap Top Prospect Gibson For Spring Training

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- The Minnesota Twins have included 2009 first-round draft pick Kyle Gibson among 19 non-roster players they've invited to spring training.

Other pitchers not on the 40-man major league roster who will be in camp are left-handers Phil Dumatrait and Chuck James and right-handers Yorman Bazardo, Carlos Gutierrez and Kyle Waldrop.

Also on the list are catchers Jair Fernandez, Chris Herrmann, Steve Holm, Danny Lehmann, Danny Rams and Rene Rivera; infielders Matt Brown, Ray Chang, Brian Dozier, Justin Huber and Chase Lambin; and outfielders Jeff Bailey and Brian Dinkelman.

The Twins also announced Tuesday that Harmon Killebrew will again be one of six guest instructors in camp. Killebrew was recently diagnosed with esophageal cancer.
