1 Of 2 Fugitives In Red Lake Shootings Arrested

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- The FBI says one of two fugitives in a shooting on the Red Lake reservation that left one man dead and his two brothers wounded has been arrested.

Ralph Boelter, special agent in charge of the FBI's Minneapolis office, said in a statement Sunday 22-year-old Donald Leigh Clark, of Redby, was found hiding under a blanket in the backseat of his girlfriend's car outside his father's home late Saturday night.

Julian DeMarrias died after a street shooting in Redby Nov. 3.

Nineteen-year-old Cruz Anthony White remains a fugitive. Both are charged with second-degree murder and assault with intent to commit murder.

According to the Grand Forks Herald, investigators say the dispute stemmed from a home invasion and burglary involving DeMarrias and his brothers in which Clark's toddler son was threatened.
