934th Airlift Troops Get Big Welcome Home
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minnesota troops returning from Afghanistan received a warm welcome home in the cold weather.
There were 22 members of the 934th Airlift Wing who flew in to the Twin Cities Tuesday afternoon from Bagram Airfield.
Once they got off the plane, there were plenty of hugs and tears of joys as family and friends welcomed the airmen home.
While they were in Afghanistan, they helped keep the aircraft running along with running transport missions.
There will be 16 more members of the 934th that will arrive in the Twin Cities on Thursday.
