Police: Reason For Andover Hostage Incident Unknown
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Andover Police are trying to figure out why a man broke into a home and held some people hostage Tuesday night.
It happened just before 7:30 p.m. at a home on Prairie Road Northwest.
The people inside the home say a stranger broke in, pointed a gun at them and held them hostage.
Police arrested the 34-year-old man a short time later.
The man is cooperating with investigators, but they still don't know why he did it.
No one was hurt in the incident.
