Woman Stabbed In The Back In South Mpls.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A woman is expected to survive after being stabbed in the back overnight in an apartment building.

Police said the stabbing happened on the 3100 block of 3rd Avenue South in south Minneapolis.

Neighbors saw the woman bleeding in the hallway and called emergency services.

Police described the scene as a domestic fight. A man inside the apartment was taken into custody.

The victim was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
