Frank Vascellaro and his mother, Rosalie, whipped up some Italian hamburgers this week. Check out the recipe below:
Mama V’s Italian Hamburgers
1 pound hamburger
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
½ cup bread crumbs
¼ cup parmesan cheese
¼ cup parsley
½ teaspoon garlic powder
Place hamburger in a mixing bowl. Add salt, pepper, bread crumbs, eggs, parmesan cheese, parsley and garlic powder.
Mix all the ingredients well by hand.
Form the meat mixture into small size hamburgers with your hands. These should not be full size hamburgers you would normally cook on a grill.
Place oil in a frying pan and heat. Cook the hamburgers thoroughly and serve warm.
