Mpls. Man Killed In St. Croix County Crash

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A Minneapolis man was killed in a three-vehicle crash in St. Croix County on Thursday afternoon.

According to the sheriff’s office, 22-year-old Thomas Victor Huju was driving along Highway 63 in Cylon, Minn. at about 5 p.m. when he apparently crossed the center line.

Huju’s vehicle first crashed into a truck and then Chevrolet Equinox.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other drivers and a passenger were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating what may have caused the accident.

“Huju’s vehicle first crashed into a truck and then Chevrolet Equinox.”

So, let me get this straight, the make/model of the truck was unimportant? Does WCCO get ad dollars from GM?

This is just bone chilling to read. I graduated high school with him in Grand Rapids, MN back in 2007. He was a great person and the best sense I humor I had ever seen. Just gives me the chills to see the picture and read these words because they just don’t seem real.

Amanda, I know what you mean. I went to college with him and was really close these last couple years. I can hardly believe it is real.

Here is one of the sites I found, I don’t know if KSTP removes comments after 24 hours but I couldn’t find the comments there. If you sign into the Grand Rapids Herald Review and also the Rowe funeral home websites you will probably catch the local comments. Please keep in mind the picture they have used is just a generic crash picture. I have seen this used previously, so do not let it upset you.
