Alaska-Anchorage Beats Minnesota, 1-0

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Matt Bailey scored the game's only goal and Chris Kamal made 30 saves as Alaska-Anchorage beat Minnesota 1-0 on Saturday.

The shutout was the first ever by the Seawolves (8-13-3, 7-11-2) at Minnesota and earned Alaska-Anchorage a split of the two-game series. The Golden Gophers (11-10-3, 8-8-2) won the first game 5-1 on Friday.

Chris Kamal got the start in net for the Seawolves and faced 16 shots in the second period. The Gophers were 0-for-3 on the power play.

Kamal got the only goal he needed when Bailey picked up a loose puck at the blue line and skated down the left side to beat Kent Patterson low. Patterson made 21 saves.
