Police Seek To ID Man Who Robbed SuperAmerica 3 Times

ST. PAUL (WCCO) -- Police are asking for help in identifying a man who robbed a St. Paul SuperAmerica three times in the past six weeks.

According to police, the man robbed the gas station located at 56 N. Snelling Ave. on Dec. 23, 2010, Jan. 11, 2011 and Jan. 26, 2011. On two occasions, he threatened employees with a knife.

Police describe the man as white, in his late teens or early 20s, 5-foot-10 to 6 feet tall with a thin build. During the first two robberies, he reportedly wore the same tan or light-colored fur hat with ear flaps, the same scarf and a dark colored jacket or sweatshirt. During the last, he wore a dark University of Arizona sweatshirt ("Arizona" in red lettering over the UA logo) under his jacket. He wore a baseball hat during the last two robberies.

Anyone who can identify the man or has information related to any of these robberies is asked to call the St. Paul Police Homicide/Robbery Unit at 651-266-5650.
