HUDSON, Wis. (WCCO) — Police are looking to identify two men in connection to a robbery and assault in Hudson, Wis. Friday morning.

According to police, at around 9:20 a.m., two men entered the Spirit Seller liquor store, which is located in downtown Hudson. A female employee later observed the men taking bottles of liquor and concealing them in their clothing.

When the employee asked the men to return the liquor and leave the store, both men left the store, but did not return any bottles. She then dialed 911 on her phone and followed the men outside.

The men were observed going to a silver four-door vehicle with a Minnesota license plate number similar to UGE-316. The vehicle was occupied by three or four more men.

The employee was assaulted when she tried to clean off the vehicle’s license plate, police said. One of the men who allegedly took bottles from the store hit her in the face several times. He then entered the vehicle, which was last seen heading towards Interstate 94.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Hudson Police Department at 715-386-4771 or after hours at 715-386-4701.
