Police: 2 Men Rob Liquor Store, Assault Employee

HUDSON, Wis. (WCCO) — Police are looking to identify two men in connection to a robbery and assault in Hudson, Wis. Friday morning.

According to police, at around 9:20 a.m., two men entered the Spirit Seller liquor store, which is located in downtown Hudson. A female employee later observed the men taking bottles of liquor and concealing them in their clothing.

When the employee asked the men to return the liquor and leave the store, both men left the store, but did not return any bottles. She then dialed 911 on her phone and followed the men outside.

The men were observed going to a silver four-door vehicle with a Minnesota license plate number similar to UGE-316. The vehicle was occupied by three or four more men.

The employee was assaulted when she tried to clean off the vehicle’s license plate, police said. One of the men who allegedly took bottles from the store hit her in the face several times. He then entered the vehicle, which was last seen heading towards Interstate 94.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Hudson Police Department at 715-386-4771 or after hours at 715-386-4701.

Look at the pretty camera…idiots! All this for liquor?!?!?!

Props to the employee for properly following protocol. Hopefully, she did not have any serious injuries from these idiots.

Stink’n thugs hitting a woman. I hope somebody can identify these idiots and convict their butts. With the possible plate and video, it’s only a matter of time before Johnny Law takes them down. I’m inclined to believe they’re from St Paul.

  • IMaOnTheTake

    They be thugz, numb sane?

  • jpogalz

heading back to Saint Paul no dought, with love from Gary.

  • StPaulGuy

I live in St Paul and so does my family. We don’t rob stores, as don’t all my friends, neighbors or people where I work, in St. Paul. If you lived in St. Paul you would know that.

  • Darryl

Serious jail time for a couple of bottles of booze. I hope they get 10 years of hard time each. Remove this scum from society.

  • Big Man

Now I suppose that Jesse Jackson will claim racial profiling when they arrest these bros.

St Paul is definitely lacking class amongst its citizens. A few good eggs scattered in, but mostly the dregs of the Metro area.

  • Sparky

Get a clue, worthless waste of our space, all of you thieves! Hurts everyone you know, Hope they throw your butts in the can! Or the liquor bottle!!!

  • chlyh20

Race should have nothing to do with it. They are just the DREGS of society that resort to crime to petty crime to gain goods and money, instead of working for it like most responsible people do, Lack of a good education is at the root of most of their problems. Tom is a tool for posting the comment that he did. Which is why they deleted his racist comment.

It takes a real piece of garbage coward to hit a woman! And I must say that they are very lucky someone like me didn’t see this assault occur in the parking lot, because they wouldn’t have been able to leave the parking lot. Justice served quickly and justly.

  • Sandy

Wow, what a surprise, look like the same pieces that keep robbing, stealing, assaulting, wasting, making everyone elses lives miserable because they are incapable of making a life of their own or feel complete entitlement.

  • Billy

Things like this only happen in Minnesota.
Minnesota is very soft to criminals.
    Minnesota has the best jails.
Actually it is better to live in a Minnesota jail or prison than to live in your own home and pay bills these days.

I know what the Minnesota jails, workhouses and prisons are like in Minnesota, I spent plenty of time in them when I was younger.

    • Todd

Billy, this didn’t happen in Minnesota.

  • fred
