Bemidji St. Beats Minn. St., Mankato 4-1

MANKATO, Minn. (AP) -- Jordan George had two goals to lead Bemidji State past Minnesota State-Mankato 4-1 on Saturday.

George scored in the second and third periods for the Beavers (10-14-2, 6-12-2), who trailed 1-0 after Michael Dorr's goal for the Mavericks (12-12-6, 6-12-4) at 14:06 of the first period.

Brad Hunt and Ian Lowe also had goals for Bemidji State.

Dan Bakala had 40 saves for Bemidji State and Phil Cook had 18 stops for the Mavericks.

Minnesota State-Mankato kept the pressure on and outshot Bemidji State 41-20. It had a 43-19 shot-on-goal advantage in Friday's 2-1 overtime win.
