Weather Blog: Another Cold Snap

By Chris Shaffer, WCCO-TV

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The combination of cold air and wind will make it feel more like January than February.

I know -- many of you are sick of winter. At least we don't have any big storms in sight. But we don't have any heat in sight either.

Expect single digit highs with below zero night until Thursday. The wind could be strong enough for Wind Chill Advisories to be a part of our next few mornings.

By late this week, we get on the "return flow" side of the arctic high pressure that will slide south of us. That means our air will flow from west to east bringing in milder temperatures.

How mild? How do the 30s sound just in time for the weekend? Hang in there for a few days.
