Gov. Hires Director For Office He Wanted To Close

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Gov. Mark Dayton has hired his campaign finance manager to head the state trade office, which he once talked about closing.

Dayton appointed Katie Clark to run the Minnesota Trade Office. She has worked for the Target Corp. and National Wind, a wind energy developer. Some Republicans are questioning the hire because the Democratic governor repeatedly called for eliminating the office while he was campaigning.

Dayton tells Minnesota Public Radio News he had concerns about how the office has languished over the past decade. Dayton says Clark will improve the trade office and that closing it isn’t a top priority right now.

That seems like an appropriate response, but it brings up a questions I do have about the left.

This is totally off topic, but it seems the left never has an idea on how to fix a problem, just comments about how the right are a bunch of racist, sexist, ugly morons that are rigging the system for the rich, but no one can EVER explain how or why.

So I doubt anyone will, but could anyone explain the Democratic party, why it’s the correct answer for driving America in the right direction? Also, please a little more than Republicans are morons or you have to be compassionate.

In my book the best answer is the one that helps everyone the most from the poorest of the poor to the richest of the rich and all I see from the left is class warfare against the rich to give to the poor to maintain their elected positions.
