Anglers To Hit Ice In Alexandria Fishing Tourney
ALEXANDRIA, Minn. (AP) -- Anglers will compete for thousands of dollars in cash prizes in the 11th annual Alexandria Ice Fishing Challenge.
The tournament begins Saturday at noon at a new location on Lake Agnes in downtown Alexandria.
Top prize is $10,000 for biggest fish caught. New this year is all-cash prizes for both raffle ticket and fishing tournament winners.
The event is billed as Minnesota's second-largest ice fishing tournament.
A youth fishing expo will be held before the tournament, from 9-11 a.m. The tourney wraps up at 3 p.m.
