Weather Blog: The Heat Is On (Still)

By Chris Shaffer, WCCO-TV

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Expect another warm day Tuesday as the wind cranks up from the south and ushers in another shot at the 40s for highs.

We should see a good deal of sunshine with the wind subsiding by evening.

The warmest days this week will be Wednesday and Thursday as we head for the mid-40s.
Thursday could be the warmest, but I think there will be the possibility of drizzle and fog keeping us down a bit.

Our snow is rapidly declining as we have fallen back to the single digits for snow depth. It won't be all gone by week's end, but you will see a good deal of your yard.

We may see a rain/snow mix Friday as a storm system passes to the north. I think the main weather result here will be very strong winds Friday and the beginning of a cool down.
