MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO)
— Rick Kupchella was one of the most well-known investigative reporters in the Twin Cities. He also anchored the weekend news at KARE-TV. Now, he looks ahead to the future of his latest success, Bring Me The News.

The website has been up and running for 18 months. He, along with his staff of 15, delivers information through his website, radio broadcasts and social networks.

“We are a news operation that looks to take news to where the people are,” Kupchella said.

His team of experienced journalists takes news from 400 established sources such as WCCO-TV, Minnesota Public Radio and the Star Tribune and posts it on the Bring Me The News website.

Kupchella positions advertising right next to the actual story in a subtle way. You will find news stories and sponsored stories together.

“The rate of engagement that we find for our sponsors online is at least 10 times the norm,” he said.

According to the website tracker Compete.com, 20,000 people visited his site in December.
