CHANHASSEN (WCCO) — A water main break in Chanhassen caused the sewer system to backup into at least 24 homes Wednesday night, according to city officials.
Chanhassen Public Works director Paul Oehme says the incident happened around 7:30 p.m. near the Chanhassen Hills and Highway 101 area.
A city engineer told WCCO-TV that cold weather coupled with a change in soil temperatures may be the cause of the main break.
