Weather Blog: Flaky Start To Our Weekend

By Ron Trenda, WCCO-TV

Our Saturday will feature periods of snow. Sorry about that if you're experiencing "snow fatigue" this winter.

Generally, one to two inches of accumulation are possible over about the southern half of Minnesota into western Wisconsin. A few spots near the Iowa border could see around 3 inches. The snow tapers off to flurries in most locations by late Saturday afternoon.

A stray flurry is still possible Saturday night and even early Sunday, but we should also see some sun at times on Sunday.

The best news for many people is that temperatures rebound nicely on Sunday, with highs in the upper 20s to lower 30s.

Hope you have a good weekend.
