Wild Send Reinforcements Ortmeyer, Peters Back

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — The Minnesota Wild have reassigned forwards Jed Ortmeyer and Warren Peters to their AHL affiliate, the Houston Aeros.

The moves were made Saturday, the day after the Wild beat the Anaheim Ducks in overtime despite playing without their top two centers. Mikko Koivu has a broken finger, and Kyle Brodziak was sick. Ortmeyer and Peters were brought up to help fill in up front.

The Wild host the Chicago Blackhawks on Monday.
