MILWAUKEE (AP) — Just one person from Wisconsin has made it into the final 24 contestants for this season’s American Idol.

Twenty-six-year-old Naima Adedapo  is from Milwaukee and is among 12 females and 12 males who remain.

So far judges Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler have been making all the decisions on the singers. But this week is the first time they perform for viewers to vote.

The show held auditions in Milwaukee this summer, at the Bradley Center in downtown Milwaukee and at the Milwaukee Art Museum along Lake Michigan.
