Nice Ride Minnesota Prepares For Spring, Expansion

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Nice Ride Minnesota is moving forward with its plan to expand.

Once the weather warms up, riders can expect to see the bike sharing stations back up and running around Minneapolis.

The program was so popular last year that Nice Ride hopes to install 50 new stations. Eight of those will be in North Minneapolis.

Nice Ride was launched last June with 700 bikes in 65 stations.

It was closed down just before winter and ended with people making more than 100,000 trips on the bikes.
