Twins 2011 Season Tickets Sold Out

By Adam Carter, NewsRadio 830 WCCO

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- If you were hoping for Twins season tickets this year, you're out of luck. The Twins announced Wednesday that they have capped season ticket sales for 2011 at 25,000.

The team said a vast majority of 2010 season ticket holders renewed.

"We had over 96 percent renewal rate this year," said Kevin Smith, Twins executive director of public affairs. "That's one of the tops in Major League Baseball."

With 25,000 season tickets sold, that leaves roughly 14,000 single-game tickets available for the Twins' 82 Target Field games. Single-game Twins tickets go on sale March 19.

Fans who want a future shot at season tickets are asked to join the 'On Deck Circle,' which is a waiting list. You can join that list on the Twins website.
