The Gopher Men’s Basketball team has now lost five straight games after losing Sunday to Penn State. The Gophers will now head into Big Ten Tournament play probably needing to win the whole thing in order to make the NCAA Tournament. Coach Tubby Smith talked to Gopher Basketball Analyst Spencer Tollackson following Sunday’s loss.

Next up for Minnesota is a rematch with Northwestern in the Big Ten Tournament in Indianapolis. Listen starting at 1:00 for the pregame, 1:30 for the tip-off Thursday afternoon on News Radio 830 WCCO.

well Cubby wants to leave? well I say send him packing! he never cared about this school and now that he can not do anything he wants to leave before it ruines his what ever he wants to call it. My opinion is quit chasing money and do your job! so you want to leave for more money good for you, but you have done nothing since you have been here!!!!! it is the players not the coach! somewhere there is a serious break down with Mr. so called cubby. Now he is after the big buck and just cant handle it because he has not brought a trophey back to MN. I say get out of your pocket and get back to being a real coach!!!!
