MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Hundreds of young athletes are in Minneapolis all this week for the National Cross Country ski races known as the Junior Olympics.
Boys and girls from 15 years old to 19 years old will compete in a number of Cross Country events, and these kids are from all over America.
Race organizers brought this event to Theodore Wirth Park in Minneapolis because the park has snow-making equipment and could guarantee snow. It turns out that equipment won’t be needed this week.
