Teens Rally Vikings Fans With Viral Video
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Vikings video on YouTube has gotten almost 11,000 hits since it was posted last week.
The "Raise Your Horn" video is a parody of Lady Gaga's "Born This Way."
Minnehaha Academy senior Danny Chamberlain produced the parody. Fellow senior Sarah Winter starred in it.
"We were almost going to the Super Bowl last year, and now look at us. We are at the bottom of the NFC North," Chamberlain said.
"My goal is that all the Vikings will see it, because I know their morale is not the highest right now."
Lyric: "I know we did underplay, but Chilly's out of our way. If you don't like the Pack, baby raise your horn today."
"I saw quite a few fans, who were Vikings fans at the beginning of the season become Packers fans," Chamberlain said. "And it was disgusting!"
Once Chamberlain got the idea for the video, it only took him a day to write the lyrics.
Winter said that Chamberlain asked her to sing for the video over Facebook.
"I like to sing a lot, so I'll basically do anything to sing," Winter said.
Chamberlain has made several other videos, but this is the first one with Winter.
Chamberlain's father held the boom box and his sister filmed the action.
Their friend Ryan Chun helped them film.
Chamberlain and Winter plan to start working on another video Tuesday.
