Michael Beasley of the Timberwolves has become well-known in the NBA, but there are still a few things many of us in Minnesota don’t really know about him. Here are 4 Things he shared with WCCO, and one bonus tidbit.
1. My favorite restaurant in the Twin Cities is McDonalds. I order two cheeseburgers, two snack wraps with no sauce, two fish fillets with cheese and light tartar sauce, two large fries, two apple pies and one large milkshake.
2. I like to sled with my daughter; everything with my daughter is fun. I don’t know why … she doesn’t know how to sled yet, she usually falls off the hill before she gets off the hill. My daughter is really fun because she can run everywhere and we wrestle all day.
3. My favorite thing from my childhood is video games. I play NBA 2K11 now. I play with the Minnesota Timberwolves and I shoot every shot with myself, so that’s my favorite thing to do. I’m averaging right now 47.3 points and 15 rebounds. I’m actually better than Kevin love in rebounding in video games. (Don’t tell him I said that.)
4. One weird thing about me: I come home from practice or a game or whatever, and somehow my left sock always seems to get off my foot and I end up walking around with one sock on. That’s something I’ve got to work on or be fixing, I guess, because it’s just weird I guess. It’s just really weird.
Bonus: One time I had an awkward moment on purpose, you know, just to see what it feels like. I slipped getting out of my car at a big event. I got out of the car and fell face first into the street. A lot of cameras were on me. I was pretty embarrassed. I did it on purpose, though.
