DULUTH, Minn. (AP) — A Minnesota company is recalling some jerky products because they contain known allergens soy, wheat and milk that are not noted on the label.
Old World Meats of Duluth is recalling about 83 pounds of individually packaged hot and teriyaki-flavored red meat jerky products
The USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service says the jerky was produced on one of the following dates — Feb. 16, March 2, March 3 or March 8 — and shipped to two distributors in the Duluth area.
The problem was discovered by an inspector during a label review and may have occurred because of a change in ingredients at the company.
There have been no reports of any adverse reactions from eating the products.
