Weather Blog: Hold On To Your Hats

By Chris Shaffer, WCCO-TV

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- It is going to be windy throughout the day Saturday. The wind will slowly subside as the day wears on, but don't expect it to warm up. We will remain below average throughout the weekend with mostly cloudy conditions both days.

Don't forget to "spring ahead" this weekend with Daylight Saving Time beginning at 2 a.m. on Sunday.

Now what about that warm-up? It starts on Monday as we warm back to the low-40s (that's above average again). We have a good shot of hitting 50 both Tuesday and Wednesday.

This, of course, will melt away our snow.

Expect to see a good deal of your yard by this time next week.

We may see a few chances of showers next week, but they should be rain and not snow.
