'Frasier' Actor, Theater Vet Pierce At Guthrie
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Emmy and Tony Award-winning actor David Hyde Pierce is sitting down for an interview at the Guthrie Theater.
Pierce is familiar to viewers of the long-running sitcom "Frasier" as the lead character's eccentric brother, Niles. He is also an accomplished film stage actor who was a member of the Guthrie's acting company from 1983 to 1986. Pierce has starred in Broadway productions including "Spamalot" and "The Heidi Chronicles," and he won a Tony in 2007 for the musical comedy "Curtains."
Pierce will be interviewed Sunday at 7 p.m. by Guthrie artistic director Joe Dowling. Tickets for the show range from $25 to $50.
