Wilfs Write To Vikings Season-Ticket Holders
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) -- Minnesota Vikings owner Zygi Wilf and president Mark Wilf have sent a letter to season-ticket holders, expressing a desire to keep fans informed during the NFL lockout and spelling out the refund policy for any canceled games.
The Vikings posted a copy of the letter on their website Monday.
The team has not made the Wilf brothers or any of their executives or coaches available for comment since the lockout, which began at the end of the day Friday.
The Wilfs wrote in the letter that the league is "working hard to reach a new agreement" with the players and that they "hope the negotiation process does not disrupt the 2011 season." The Wilfs also said the Vikings are "working extremely hard" to become NFC North champions again and compete for a Super Bowl.
