Pawlenty Meets With S.C. Gov. Ahead Of Presidental Decision

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty met with South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley at the Statehouse as he mulls a presidential bid and made his second swing into this early primary state.

Pawlenty visited with Haley Wednesday.

Haley’s endorsement in the first GOP contest in the South would be a prize for any presidential campaign. Pawlenty called it a courtesy visit.

Pawlenty said his decision on a bid for The White House will come within about a month and the party is looking for someone to take the country in a new direction.

The two-term governor last visited the state in June for GOP fundraising events. His Wednesday visit included a stop at an Aiken County Republican group’s meeting.

Keep fundraising Gov. It redistributes the wealth.

Somewhere in Hell there is a snowball with a greater chance at becoming POTUS than T Paw.

Well we are already broke and that seems to be the direction that he took MN in so what new direction could he be talking about? The country does not have a surplus he can spend on sex offenders or anything like that so I think he is kind of up the creek without a paddle.

It is terribly unwise for Tim Pawlenty to keep looking at running for POTUS! No 1 of many obstacles is his stated objections to both the national and Minnesota Constitutions. His conviction in district court for adeath panel ike decision to unfund doctor ordered food supplements for sick and disabled poor people looms in his bulging closet.A door that will be thrown wide open during the vetting process in the unlikely event he would ever get that far.He should quit now, before the nation learns what Minnesotans know are Pawlenty’s bad desision making processes and picking the most helplessly vulnerable to suffer the consequences of those decisions? Tim must be stopped and outed at every turn, every blog and every stop he makes in between! He’s no boy scout and far,far from presidential material!
