JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) — Alaskan Brewing Co. in Juneau says it is adding Minnesota as a distribution point in May.
That will bring to 11 the number of states where the company’s beers are sold.
Alaskan Brewing spokeswoman Ashley Johnston says the company has received calls, letters and e-mails for years from people in Minnesota wanting it to bring the beer there.
Johnston says the company is partnering with Minnesota-based Original Gravity — a network of locally-owned distributors specializing in craft beers.
Alaskan says Minnesota is the first new market entrance since Colorado in 2008.
