MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Flood warnings have been issued for a few areas surrounding Minnesota rivers.
The National Weather Service issued warnings for the Redwood River, near Redwood Falls, Cottonwood River at New Ulm and the South Fork Crow River.
At 10 a.m. Thursday, the stage of the Cottonwood River was 6.6 feet. Major flooding is expected with a flood stage of 11 feet.
Flood watches have also been issued for the Crow River, and the Minnesota River at Mankato, at Henderson and near Jordan.
All watches and warnings are in effect until further notice.
