Police: Mother Strikes Her Own Baby In Parking Lot
STILLWATER, Minn. (WCCO) -- A 1-year-old baby was taken to the hospital in critical condition after the child's mother apparently struck it with her car.
According to Stillwater Police, the accident happened in the parking lot of Stillwater Medical Group on Curve Crest Boulevard.
The mother was with her two children and put one of them in the car seat, got in the car and started driving, striking the other child who was still in a stroller in the lot.
The baby was taken to Regions Hospital. Police said the child was in critical condition.
Police said it was a tragic accident.
