Craft Named Next Concordia College President
MOORHEAD, Minn. (AP) -- A new president has been named for Concordia College.
The college's Board of Regents voted unanimously Monday to appoint William Craft as the 11th president in Concordia's 120-year history.
Craft has been vice president for academic affairs and dean of the college at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, since 2000. The Forum newspaper reports Craft will begin his new duties July 11 at the Moorhead school.
Concordia's former president, Pamela Jolicoeur (JOL'-ah-kur), died last June after suffering a stroke in her home. A former Concordia president, Paul Dovre (DOVE'-ree), has been serving as interim president while the school looked for a permanent replacement.
