Weather Blog: Time To Dry Out

By Chris Shaffer, WCCO-TV

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The snow is finished, and I think we will stay dry for quite some time.

Canadian high pressure will dominate the area over the next several days. The good news is that we will stay dry.

There is a storm Friday and Saturday that should stay south because of the high. The bad news is that we will stay in that cool, northern air.

Expect our highs to stay below average, 44 degrees, right through the weekend.

We will see some nice sunshine for our Thursday, but our high should peak out in the upper-20s.

The sun will help melt the snow on the roads, but the snow in your yard should be quite safe for the next several days.
