Weather Blog: A Consistent Pattern

By Chris Shaffer, WCCO-TV

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The strong Canadian high pressure system will remain parked over the region for the next several days. That makes for a fairly boring forecast.

Any storm systems should slide off to the south, unable to reach saturation in our cool, dry air. Yes I did say the word "cool" in the forecast. Our average high has crept up to 46 degrees and we will remain at least 10 degrees below that both days this weekend.

Expect sunshine to slowly melt away the fresh snow in our yards. We will get back to the 40s next week and maybe even hit 50 on April 1, no fooling.
