Police: Man Shot After Argument Near Crosstown Market

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Police are investigating after a man was shot in the leg by someone he knew near the Crosstown Market Sunday afternoon.

Police said the shooting happened around 1 p.m. after two men had a argument near 5750 34th Ave. As one of the men was walking away, he was shot by the other, who fled on foot.

The victim has not given police the identity of the shooter, police said.

The victim was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center for treatment for non-life threatening injuries, police said.

Police will continue to investigate.

Note: this shooting is not related to the other shooting that happened Sunday in which a man was also shot in the leg around 1 p.m.
