Crime Notes: Hopkins Squad Hit

By Caroline Lowe, WCCO-TV

HOPKINS, Minn. (WCCO) -- Two Hopkins police officers were slightly hurt Monday morning when an unlicensed driver rear-ended their squad on a traffic stop.

The window of the pick-up truck that hit them was frosted over, partially obscuring the driver's view. The squad's emergency lights were on at the time.

The squad received about $6,000 in damages. The truck driver was cited for driving after revocation and for not having insurance.

Hopkins Police hope this incident reminds drivers to clear their windows of frost before they head out
