DeBlog: How Old Until You're Old?

By Jason DeRusha, WCCO-TV

At what age would you consider yourself to be old? Is it 40? 50? 60?

I want your answer in the comments, but I couldn't believe the difference between men and women in a new poll conducted by a British funeral business.

On average, men start to feel old at age 58. Women start to feel old around age 29.

Twenty-nine, ladies? Really?

Photographer Joe Berglove and I have been arguing about whether or not I am middle aged. I'm 36, and I argue that there's no way I'm middle aged. But if life expectancy for men is 78, 39 would be the start of the middle, right? So I'm getting close.

I did spend all of my weekend with 63-year-old Cheryl Tiegs, and let me tell you, that woman is not old. I look older than she does.

At any rate, tonight's Good Question will explore why there's such a huge gap between men and women. Are women too hard on themselves? Are men out of their minds? Share your thoughts in the comments, and watch us tonight at 10!
