MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO)– Police are investigating after a woman and a man with bullet wounds were driven to Abbott Northwestern Hospital Monday night.
Police believe the wounded are connected with a report of gunshots heard around 8 p.m. near the 3400 block of Park Avenue South.
When police responded to the gunshot report, both victims arrived at Abbott Northwestern Hospital where the woman died in the ER, police said.
Shortly after, the surviving victim was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center and treated for a non-life threatening bullet wound.
